'Real world' testing
This test has been carried out to replicate the way in which the OXIZONE unit would be used, and how a virus would appear in a real world environment.
Method
OXIZONE air steriliser is run in a 75m3 room for 12 hours
SARS-CoV-2 surrogate coliphage phi X174 (Microviridae, singlestranded DNAA, 27 nanometer capsid diameter, uncoated) is released into the air using an ultrasonic nebuliser to vaporise 1000ml into the air
Result
Virus has an immediate reduction of 2 logs by coming into contact with treated air.
After 10 minutes the virus is undetectable,
a reduction of almost 5 log.
